Premier Mechanical provided a complete (HVAC) mechanical system for a new 20,000 square foot cancer center in Huntington NY. This new cancer center included a category 5 chemotherapy pharmacy with fume hoods, exhaust system, reheat coils, high speed laboratory air valves and pressurization controllers as per DOH guidelines. The new NYU Cancer Center is equipped with new patent infusion areas, examination rooms, a research laboratory and administration areas. The new mechanical system includes gas fired rooftop units with HEPA filtration, fan filter units with HEPA filtration/ECM motors, humidifiers, hot water pumping systems, reverse osmosis water treatment systems, fin tube radiation systems with custom covering and a custom 4,000 CFM redundant air handler with DX cooling and thermal composite construction.
